If Penthouse's Satin & Lace series is the haut riche of direct-to-video softcore titles, Double Exposure posits itself somewhere in a solid middle-class neighborhood. Conceived, produced, and co-directed (not to mention singing the theme song) is performer Becky LeBeau herself, whose ample cleavage and long blonde tresses reminds one of Monique Gabrielle with a termiĀnal case of the giggles.
At a single modest location, three busty babes remove a few choice selections of lingerie and bikinis during a romp on the garden grounds; hot tub baths; or separate photo shoots. While attentive viewers may recognize Danielle (Dani) Ashe from a few XXX girl/girl vids, their focus may be pulled to lovely brunette covergirl Julia Parton, the sole female in the release who reveals bush.
The videography, composed as a series of anchor-bound zooms and dissolves to the trio of naked forms, is generally competent, but a moving camera would have helped immensely to lend a sense of intimacy with the models. Lighting is also somewhat flat. A worthy attempt, Becky, however, even for a 60-minute release, we suggest adding a bit of variety, if not a few more soft bodies. Flesh is certainly the name of the game, but props and scenarios go a long way to juice it up.
Will any of this matter to the consumer? It all depends on taste. But you generally don't find nouvelle cuisine restaurants serving Macburgers.
