While The Mating Pot doesn't have the story or large cast of other features by this company, it does have award-worthy action, humor, imaginative camerawork and enthusiastic players.

The setting is a TV dating game that doesn't seem to have a set format. There is a host, four girls and two guys, and nobody seems to pick anybody else. But there are a few questions asked, and then we seem to fade into contestants' fantasies.

Marc Wallice and Nicole London seem to have the first (and most pedestrian) of the five encounters/ then Alex Sanders does long-time girlfriend Veronica Sage in a scene that features unusually long foreplay but beautiful body shots of this gorgeous woman.

But the highlight of the tape is a four-girl orgy with Veronica, Debi Diamond, Nicole and Bionca that is both incredibly long and incredibly hot. I'm marking this one down to remember come balloting time. By contrast, the final two scenes — both threeways — while good considered on their own, are a bit of a letdown from the preceding Sapphic action. The first of these has Debi taking on Steven St. Croix and Alex, and reinforces the idea that Debi should always take two guys at once — because she'd probably decimate either one alone. Finally, St. Croix and Wallice perform a sandwich with Bionca as the lunchmeat — and there's no baloney here! No points here for story but high marks for top-notch action. Feature this for star appeal, targeted to whichever actress sells/rents best in your store.
