This ain’t no Sailor Moon. Fans of anime/manga conjure up different images than Superman and Batman when they hear the word “superhero.”
Barrett Blade, who has travelled to Japan several times to act in anime/manga-themed adult productions, has taken everything he has learned and brought it to America for his latest movie.
Show No Mercy, which kicks off Wicked Pictures’ new Wicked Cosplay line, is the tale of five Cirian muses who work as one to protect the Cirian Sphere and defend the universe from the likes of the evil Lord Zuru (Blade), who wants to control the Sphere and the universe.
Each of the sex scenes has a similar motif: The heroines are captured by villains and each manages to free herself and keep the Cirian Sphere’s location a secret.
At the start, Zuru sends his masked henchmen (Barry Scott and Will Powers) to torture Serafina (Alexis Monroe). The plan backfires, however, as she actually enjoys the e-stim device they use on her. It’s not long before she convinces them that if they present their cocks to her she might be persuaded to tell them where the Cirian Sphere is. (Of course, after she gobbles down their manrods and has each of them fuck her, she fights them off and escapes.)
Angeni (Molly Bennett) takes on a masked Eric Masterson, taunting him to fight her but ending up tied to machinery in a warehouse and ravaged by a vibrator. When that tactic doesn’t work, he unleashes his penis into her mouth and pussy, but she still doesn’t give up her secrets.
Andromeda (Mischa Brooks) is attacked by Michael Vegas, who locks her in a stockade and finger-fucks her before freeing her and trying to fuck the information out of her mouth and ass.
Next up Miss Eva Lovia is approached by evildoer Alektra Blue, who has her way with the do-gooder until the tables are turned and Miss Eva leaves Alektra satisfied and spent.
Finally, Queen Valeska (Annika Albrite) tries to overpower Marcus London in his laboratory, but instead ends up chained to a chair and at the mercy of his hands, penis and a Hitachi Magic Wand. But like her muse sisters, she keeps her secrets to herself.
Barrett’s knowledge of this genre, which is a favorite in Japan and sure to find an audience in the U.S., is evident in everything from the costumes to the choreographed fights scenes to the backdrop story that ties the scenes together. It leans toward the campy side, but not in a bad way. It’s not so over-the-top that viewers will be turned off.
And while the plethora of superhero parodies in recent years has done well to attract the geek crowd to adult movies, the fans of anime and manga have not yet been addressed. Hopefully this will not be Blade’s final foray into this type of feature, because for a first effort, it’s a big hit.
