Aside from the fine vintage jazz on the sound-track, Vol. 109 (circa 50's and '60's) has little to offer in the way of entertaining erotica. Either the performers get down to business in the most perfunctory way possible, or they spend yawn-inducing ways to avoid it -- smoking, chatting, playing dice, etc. These film loops are as repetitious as the plotless, poorly shot amateur porn of today...and we have color now!

Vol. 111 is a study in contrasts. The footage is older (mainly '20's and '30's with a precedent setting clip from 1915) and it's utterly charming. These are the original repairman / doctor-patient/job interview scenarios! In The Modern Pirates half a dozen flappers commandeer a boat for a joy ride to an island, where they play paddle-whack and blow the man (captain) down. The Radio Man is seduced by two gals who feed him "erection pills" to insure a full night's satisfaction. A variety of creative angles and an infectuously fun atmosphere make Vol. 111 worthwhile.
