With the comedic talents of Jonathan Morgan and a script by Cash Markman, it's a bit of a let-down that there aren't more laughs in this potentially funny show. Klutzy Elvis Kadillac (Morgan) is on an officer exchange program from the El Paso police department to Los Angeles, so the chief teams him up with equally klutzy L.A. cop Alexis DeVell. Their assigned case has them trying to find out who substituted a Mr. Rogers video tape for the intended porno one (a cute switch on real life happenings). Tehre's lots of potential laughs in this scenario, but few come, so director Bone falls back on what's left to him: sex.
Best of the five encounters is the Sapphic one between Alexis and the delicious Debi Diamond. Alexis has gotten cast in a porno film as part of their undercover work, and her "innocence" compared to Debi's hungry professionalism set each other off well for a top-notch scene worthy of nomination. The rest of the action is somewhat usual, with the possible exception of the DeVell/Morgan Crystal Wilder trio that caps off the show. As usual, Zane has designed a clever boxcover to match the cute title.
