As a live-action comic strip, this video has Dick Tracy beat all to hell. Based loosely on an episode of HBO’s Tales From the Crypt, Neutron Man is the story of timid, pussywhipped cartoonist Reginald Hedgecock (a great character name, and excellent performances by T.T. Boy), who, faced with a bitchy lesbian wife (Melanie Moore) and a rapacious publisher (Jonathan Morgan), lives vicariously through his cartoon creation, Neutron Man (Peter North). Neutron Man battles the nefarious Max Strand (Morgan again), Pussywoman (Moore in a black wig) and her Sex Kittens (Kiss and Brittany).

The script moves breezily and wittily from the cartoon world to the real one, with good sex in both. Highlights include Peter North boning the Sex Kittens with his neutronic dick; green-haired Morgan fucking Brittany on a bar and over the cocktail table; and T.T.’s triumphant coupling with shy secretary Sierra. This is a good couples’ tape, good-natured and very well-executed, worth a nomination for Best Art Direction and Best Screenplay. The comic-strip-like boxcover featuring Sierra will draw attention.
