Let's get the quibbles out of the way: the sound levels on this tape are annoyingly variable, and there's a couple of very minor plot inconsistencies. That's it. Otherwise, this is as fine a porn vid as I've ever seen: well-conceived, brilliantly executed, tightly structured, and with five top sex scenes (three of which I'd nominate) flawlessly integrated into a convincing script.
The science fiction porn subgenre is very difficult to pull off. When it's handled well (Satisfiers of Alpha Blue, Pleasure Dome, and Nightdreams come to mind), it can be an effective background for the sex, but it requires plausible plotting and top production values. Producer Matthew Taylor and his design team (especially the costumes and the vehicles) are to be complimented for their solid achievement. And Buck Adams is threatening to displace John Leslie for the title of "the most consistently interesting director in porn." At the very least, Buck's is one of the most cinematic and story-minded visions in the business, and no one handles action like he does. If the conventions of contemporary mainstream adult permitted the logical portrayals of violence – as separate from the sex – there's no telling how good Buck's stuff could be.
This vid is set in the year 2042, in a post-nuclear anarchistic American wasteland. Savage hedonistic terrorists have abandoned the ruined cities for a seminomadic existence in tent encampments dubbed "Sin Cities," from whence they prey on the innocent, like rapacious motorcycle gangs gone wild. Buck, as Sarge, leads a band of "Enforcers," whose unenviable task it is to keep a lid on the worst of the excesses of Alex Sanders' Merchants of Death, or "Mercs."
Sanders, who has established himself as one of the top two or three studs in the business, has rarely earned kudos for acting. (I remember considering his performance in Blackbroad Jungle for nomination last year, but that's about it.) Well, mark him down for a nomination for Best Actor here. He's Charles Manson without the line of racist bullshit; David Koresh with sex appeal. He leads his followers in an opening orgy that should cop a Best Group Sex Scene nod; he's paired with blonde bombshell Yvonne while new stud Red Bone wrestles with Jordan Lee (newly bustier) and amateur fave-turned pro Rayveness. Yvonne is a worthy match for the relentless pounding of Alex, who finishes with a huge facial cumshot. The lovely Rayveness, rather than Jordan, is the center of attention here, but Jordan gets centerstage later.
Felecia, wife of Enforcer Tony Tedeschi, is kidnapped by Alex's band as her car breaks down at roadside. Threatened with sexual abuse by her captors, Felecia not only chooses to cooperate, but even tries to outdo her partner/tormentor, Yvonne, in an amazing girl/girl pairing that is the second scene worthy of a nomination. The hostility in this situation is transmuted into incredible sexual electricity, and the two babes gnaw each other's pussies like the last drop of juice in the world is in there. There's an abundance of fingers twisting in willing cunts, and clit-slapping that would register on a seismograph. Felicia's engorged nipples are like twin caramel rockets ready for takeoff—unreal!
Jordan is staked out as bait on Felecia's abandoned car, and Enforcer T.T. is the catch. These two turn in nomination scene #3 – a wild, sunlit fierce coupling on the hood of the red 'Vette that is so hot, you can almost smell the combination of leather, oil, and pussy cream. T.T. can be forgiven for being so woozy as to be easily taken by the Mercs, even as the dew is still dripping from hnis lily.
Enforcer Mad Jack (Tony Tedeschi, in another Best Supporting perf for him) is wracked with guilt and worry over Felecia's fate. Alex's woman (Anabelle Dayne), worried that she will lose him to Felecia's charms, offers to aid the Enforcers in freeing Felecia and T.T. She and Tony comfort each other, in another sizzler, performed on a balcony under a skylight in a futuristic house. Anabelle, who was previously unimpressive to me, is on fire here. When she bends over the railing and puts one booted leg up to aid the entry of Tony's thick member, and looks over her shoulder with those huge eyes that say "don't stop," I was hooked on her pale blonde appeal.
A climactic battle, including some very effective night shots of a gun battle, ends in victory for the Enforcers. Buck and fellow Enforcer Rebecca enjoy a celebratory sex break atop their futuristic Formula One-style Enforcer vehicle, on the now presumably-safer roadside. Elsewhere this month, I said I was getting tired of this particular partnership. Well, I apologize to both parties and I take it back. Anyone could watch a scene like this, time after time. Rebecca gives sensational biting head to Buck; he returns the favor, and they fuck each other so hard that the paint on the hood was bubbling. Superb camerawork by Jack Remy, tight editing by Rick Blaine, superb and unusual music by Rock Hard, and, of course, the direction of Buck Adams are also worth nominations. There's no screen credit for the screenplay, which also deserves kudos. A typically excellent Sin City boxcover highlights this superb piece of work, which no one should miss. Folks, the standard for 1995 has been set!
