A 1994 theme-and-variations on the 1966 mainstream sleeper Seconds, with Nick East filling in for Rock Hudson.  Thought-provoking material and chilling ending makes Forever Young different from usual light plot-driven porn fare.

Unused footage used as multiple angles makes for interesting out-of-sync experiences, but Ralph Parfait's cinematography is always welcome.  Asia Carrera leads the femme contigent; her bathtub tryst with East is a highlight.

First the Great Wall fell, then an agreement between the PLO and Israel, and now a superbly written, directed, shot, and acted adult film – will miracles never cease.

Forever Young is Vivid's version of Picture of Dorian Gray (a quest for eternal youth).

Director Ellison makes a wise choice in opting for the sex, before getting into the story. In other words, "I'd rather see pink, before having to think." The pink in this case belongs to Tina Tyler, while the manhood is slung by Nick East. They start things off by dancing, where East explains, "It's like dancing in a box," and it isn't long, before Nick is doing exactly that – dancing in her box. Interesting angles, great penetrating shots, and sexual chemistry has this (mutual head, doggie, reverse cowgirl, mish) scene, "hotter than Hades."

We're next introduced to E.Z. Ryder, who gives a splendid performance (in a non-sex role) as a middle aged man who has it all (millions of dollars, a beautiful wife, hair, etc.), but in reality he's missing perhaps the two most important things – his youth and a hard-on. A phone call from a (supposedly dead) childhood friend, played by Steven St. Croix, moves the film right along where St. Croix explains that he has secretly undergone an operation that has left him forever young, and more importantly – virile. He proves his point by getting it up, in, and on top of the pretty, natural-titted Brooke Waters. Brooke, orally adept, uses her incisors to bite the buttons off of St. Croix's shirt en route to a fierce and fiery fuckfest. A hard fast cowgirl, standing and countertop fuck (as well as a bottle of Zinfandel, put to good use) is all E.Z. needs. His prayers for putting a "lift back into his shift" has been answered.

The surgery's a success and E.Z. looks remarkably like Nick East – in fact the new improved E.Z. is Nick East (the first scene now becomes clear). He chooses Asia Carrera to test out his "penetration renovation". A beautiful bubblebath blow job and banging follows. In Roy Scheider-like fashion, Asia rises from the depths of the tub to land on Nick's "great white." After a variety of angles and positions Nick blows his bubbles and comes to the realization that he's in love. No doubt!

The final orgy scene lacks some of the coverage and intensity that we have been spoiled with, but the performers (Valeria, J.P. Anthony, Brooke Waters, Grey Waters, and an unidentified blonde beauty) do give it their all. In case you haven't had enough sex, the same time that the orgy and (body parts) are unfolding, a nice three-way between Asia, Mark Wallice, and Alex Dane is cooking. Masturbating, girl/girl, boy/girl, and anal are just some of the offerings being served up on this sexual smorgasbord.

I won't ruin a splendid ending for you. I'll only say that it's consistent with the rest of the feature – very well done. Vivid begins '95 in excellent fashion, with a beautiful film that's certain to be remembered awards time. Remember, "Fairy tales can come true, they can happen to you, if you stay young at heart" (and get a copy of Forever Young).
