Aside from the recent Sex Trek series or a few ancient classics like Sex World or Cafe Flesh (which this vid most closely resembles) rarely have science fiction and porn combined to make more than mighty strange bed-fellows.  The sexually stunning tale is an amalgam of reliable sci-fi chestnuts: A post-apocalyptic society of have & have-nots where depraved pleasure seekers subject innocent female "criminals" to sexual servitude.

From its opening conjugal visit scene (as Steve Drake satisfies his prisoner/wife Steffi with urgent thrusting and a slowmotion facial waxing) to the cliffhanging climax where (among others) Marc Wallice, Gerry Pike and Alex Sanders are serviced by Steffi, Isis Nile, and Tammi Ann, Pleasure Dome maximizes every mind-bending moment to keep both the heat and the story moving along. The Genesis Chamber -- a machine which ages one the entire span of their sentence within seconds -- is a fascinating device not only in itself, but also because it compels Steffi to seek an alternate punishment in the dome of debauchery.

Tiffany Million turns in a multi-faceted performance as Steffi's lawyer, a "priviledged" and sultry lady who revels in an illicit romance with escaped prisoner Mike Horner (who's adopted a curiously inappropriate Austrian accent somewhere between Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sigmund Freud). Cleaving her clam in the shadows of Tiff's tiny apartment, Horner plows her from behind, her lactating tits bouncing like milk-fed pinballs.  Million reciprocates with a spittle-actuated blowjob, sucking him dry.  A tad less effective is a flashback sequence with Dick Nasty and Stephanie Duvalle; I found the black and white videography less intrusive than all that messy pussy-play with "contraband" strawberry jam, though modest anal antics liven it up somewhat.

As virtually every scene is crafted to be as "filmic" as possible; it's a minor shame AFV didn't just take the plunge and shoot real film!  The production design, make-up, costumes, and Tangerine Dream-ish music are all shoo-ins for '94 nominations. They say the future ain't what it used to be, but you'll certainly be looking forward to the next thrilling installment of Pleasure Dome!  Interesting marketing campaign will help rentals and sales.
