Lacy Rose is Doctor Bumpers, the hostess who introduces us to a series of vintage educational films – that have been updated. To give you an idea how old they are, a thin Ron Jeremy (without crumbs in his mustache) can be seen. Through the magic of editing these black and white films (obviously Ted Turner didn't know they existed) from the 50's are so twisted that a Father Knows Best might be redubbed Father Knows Breasts.
Topics covered are Marriage (where a young couple visits a Love Counselor who discusses blow jobs and masturbation), How To Choose A Date (complete with a dominatrix), How To Ask For A Date (with a live sex show) and more.
Re-dubbing vintage footage has tremendous potential (such as the HBO hit Dream On) but Doctor Bumpers which moves sluggishly may be diagnosed with pornonucleosis. The first ten minutes are fun, but the last fifty may leave you nostalgic for Beaver, Wally and the rest of the Cleaver clan. Lacy doesn't exactly speed things along, as she appears to be reading off of a super-slow moving TelePrompter. Take two editing classes and call me in the morning.
