As a quirky homage to the schlockmeister/filmmaker Ed Wood, the mainstream film of the same name made a little splash with all but the most rabid Tim Burton aficionados. So it comes as somewhat of a surprise then, for porndom to be attempting to exploit its "success."
What Dr. D and company have achieved however, is a feature so lacking in craftsmanship, coherency and heat that it makes Wood himself appear almost Spielbergian by comparison.
Aside from the opening sequences – a lengthy, uninterrupted wide shot of "producer" Tony Eveready giving Golden Jade the usual casting couch preamble – the two remaining scenes have nothing to do with Hollywood, and even less with filmmaking. It's simply unrelated amateurish footage, wherein the all-black cast literally sit around mumbling ad-libs about massages and apple trees (I kid you not!) until, apparently, some off-camera person reminds them to engage in really mediocre sex.
Flashbulbs going off during the event merely prevent the viewing from falling into a well-deserved nap. The vid scores an extra half "A" for the spoon-style anal coupling between Jade and Eveready (minus the penetration shot).
Unlike Ed Wood's films, this one is not so bad as to be endearing – it's just bad.
