Does anyone happen to remember the past decade? Really remember it? The ‘80s sucked. Leave it to Ron Jeremy (co-writer) to mastermind a vid where the premise is a take-off on what might be the most stellar example of televised ‘80s entertainment, “Star Search.” Round out the cast with Motley Crue’s ex-singer, Vince Neil, and use Hyapatia Lee’s band to perform two songs in a style that would have sounded contemporary when big hair and spandex were the ultimate fashion statements, and you have Hollywood Starlet Search.
Letha Weapons simpers that she’s got a fantasy about “a big, hairy, smelly, chubby man fucking me.” Hey, who doesn’t? The RJ/Letha mish has a nice initial penetration shot and continues with a brief tit-fuck. Wunderkind editor/director Morehead spoils it with badly dubbed sound, however.
Kerri Downs’ not-inconsiderable talent for squirting makes a splash when she’s paired up with Dave Hardman. Noteworthy only for the moment when she drenches her shoes while sucking him, it’s a good thing she provides a cumshot. If he does, we don’t see it.
Sex takes a backseat to the comedy styling of Ron Jeremy, which are enough to inspire profound longing for another Jerry Butler comeback. The non-sex entertainment is different, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s better. Technical values are as bad as the era they’re trying to glorify (the sex is fragmented and jumpy). You’ll probably derive more satisfaction watching a re-run of “Charles in Charge.”
