Colt Steele is a relentless, gifted cardshark whose poker practice session is interrupted by Jessica James, who promises him “the fuck of a lifetime” if he can deal himself a royal flush. He does and she proceeds to go down on his tumid poker. A decent scene, but hardly one of “lifetime” stature.

The film switches to Janine and Asia Carrera in the shower. Their gorgeous bodies writhe and their tongues are aflitter but suddenly Asia’s husband Steve Drake is home and horny. Asia stashes Janine in a closet (a joke about Janine’s on-camera lesbianism?) and does the nasty with Steve while Janine listens and gets aroused. The crosscutting between these two scenes is expertly done. Steve cums, rolls over and falls asleep, but Asia is just getting started.

Asia retrieves Janine and takes her to a sauna where their pent-up frustration at being interrupted explodes. Janine grabs Asia by her hair and friggs her furiously from behind, then spins her around and kisses her hard. Janine is clearly in control, and manipulates Asia like a master pianist. Is this girl/girler an award-worthy scene? Is the Pope Catholic?

British imports Yvonne and Mark Davis enjoy a fireplace tryst after getting an invitation from Colt for a card game. He proceeds to jam his red-hot poker up Yvonne’s bum. Now that’s a raise. Later, Janine walks in on the car game and hustles Steve and Mark out of $5000 – and a hot date with Yvonne. Janine takes her in the kitchen, fingering her labia, nibbling on her earlobe, necking with her; in short, driving her crazy. Yvonne takes Janine from behind with a huge strap-on, and Janine returns the favor anally. Yet anther nomination-worthy lesbian scene!

The plot is tissue-thin but that’s no knock: this is basically an all-sex film. The great cinematography of Jack Remy is the real star, capturing the teeming total nudity and rich colors with pastel undertones, reminiscent of the classic Every Woman Has a Fantasy series of the 1980s. The box cover of Janine will take your breath away with its hot focus on her gorgeous face. Figuring out how to market this film should not be brain surgery. If only the boy/girl scenes has even half the pulse of Janine’s, this could have been an all-sex classic.
