Back in these good old days, titles usually told the tale, so things like "Should a Gentleman Offer a Lady a Joint", "G.I. Joe", "Rent Collector", "Root Injector", and the seventeen others to be found in these two editions of classics are commonplace themes.

Each scene tries to be imaginative. Some work; some wind up ordinary. It should be remembered that, although very amateur by today's standards, these were the pro performers of their day.

An interesting aspect of this old entertainment is that many of these scenes "push today's envelope", so to speak, but, released in this historic manner, causes nary a frown (and prob­ably quite a few chuckles) from watchdog and activist groups usually eager to make a stink over just about any devia­tion from the video norm. The good old days...sigh.
