Set in the '40s of early '50s, Layover follows Janine as she attempts to outrun a pair of killers hired by her domineering ex-boyfriend, Tony Tedeschi. The plane she's on is "forced" to make an emergency landing, and it's during this unexpected layover that most of the film's action takes place. Noteworthy sex scenes include Asia Carrera pulling innocent Tammi Ann onto a bar stage for a dual strip-tease which leads to both girls getting seriously fucked (Tammi Ann anally), and an intense Janine/Jordan Lee hotel room encounter wherein Lee chews her way through Janine's nylons.
Excellent cinematography by Jack Remy captures all of the action, and the air of suspense heightens as the film progresses. Good acting by Janine as the lady in peril, and Tammi Ann as an innocent allowed to shed her skin and be the brazen slut that lurks inside. This is a good couples film, and the compelling story will have viewers guessing 'til the very end.
