This hardcore take on Sam Raimi's The Quick & The Dead sure looks good, but Kaplan's usually fine scripting heads south - old Saturday matinees and sitcoms seems paeans to plot by comparison.
Jill Kelly does a great Sharon Stone, and Tom Byron is solid as the laid-back sheriff. Indian maiden Alex Dane smokes Byron's peace pipe and rides him bareback in a private pow-wow, and Byron strikes it rich when Kelly oils up his sex-pistol and he unloads on her face. As for the remainder, well - "all that glitters..."
