Steeped in noirish mood and sultry sex, XXX lifts up the shot-on-video genre by its bootie-straps to a standard that most features never even strive to attain anymore.

Melissa Hill runs a brother designed to blackmail her clientele, including Senator Jonathan Morgan, who engages in carnal congress with Anna Malle and Sid Deuce. Detectives Sindee Coxx and Steve Hatcher slowly unravel the plan, but cop some effective oral overtime to cement their partnership. The nastiest scene features Hill licking Hatcher's load out of Stephanie Swift's mouth.

Nic Cramer's dry dialogue is bolstered by credible performances and a shootout finale. With six full sex scenes and razor-sharp editing, XXX is great for couples. The hologram box is a killer.
