What's a retailer to do? There's probably no way to avoid carrying this release and it will surely return big rental dollars —money in the bank just waiting to be counted. Yet in all honesty neither the sight of Divine Brown in the flesh nor the four lame sex scenes (and an interview) that pad it out are going to satisfy any regular customers hip to sophisticated erotica.
The "highlight" is a recreation of the infamous blowjob scenario. Watching Hugh Grant (Mark Davis) get his knob gobbled in a Trojan raincoat is the least erotic image on screen since a Pat Buchanan fund rally, and less successful. Divine's subsequent jaunt in the pokey is jazzed up with a tepid lesbian scene with Candy Cash and Kim Kataine. With an uncharacteristic lack of humor, Ron Jeremy plays her lawyer who takes his fee in trade, doggy style. This time, it's the lawyer who gets fucked.
Only one scene actually generates a modicum of heat, and that's a medieval fantasy between Davis and Yvonne, whose skills at professional sex make Brown look like Miss Demeanor.
Technical specs, especially some cute editing FX, are above average, which account for the rating. A must-stock item despite its flaws.
