Misty Cam's Birthday Party, the debut tape in a new series from Soho/Metro, only goes to prove the old adage, "You can lead a hot porn star to a video camera, but what she shoots won't necessarily quench your sexual thirst."

The setting is Misty's birthday party, and lots of stars have shown up to wish her well, swim in the pool, give Misty the requisite number of ass-whacks... and, of course, fuck. There's a reasonable amount of heat here, most of it generated by Stacy Valentine and Julie Rage, and plenty of good-looking babes chowing down on pussies and man-meat. But what's missing is the spark that draws it all together, part of which would at least be camerawork that captures the action well, instead of too often shooting just off the mark. Misty is obviously trying hard, but simply being energetic, cute and sexy isn't enough.

Hopefully, subsequent volumes will be better. The title is still stockable, though. The attractive box cover should intrigue customers.
