Chances are you won't feel the same about river boats (or Jon Voight) after watching the film Anaconda. By the same token, boats and rivers will fashion entirely new meaning after a gander at GM Video's stirring compilation of fabled parties-gone-by on the Colorado River.
As the respective geography of Vols. 1 & 2 would indicate, Copper Canyon and Parker Strip are designated places on the Colorado River where hordes of revelers flock each year, like swallows to Capistrano. Unlike birds on a saintly mission, however, the nests you generally see in these tapes lie south of the belly button and north of the thigh. Which is to say, if you're offended by public access, full-frontal nudity, rent a Disney movie.
But if you're intrigued by the circumstances which prompt beautiful women to shed their inhibitions like anaconda skin, the effects of this viewing experience is nothing short of simply mesmerizing.
Bear in mind that GM Video has, for this project, assembled the best footage of recent vintage. Good and bad. Bad for video archivists who might appreciate the genesis of the Colorado River party experience. (The women of yore weren't exactly that hot, anyway.) Good, or great, if your tastes run topical, and au courant centerfold-types placed smack dab in the middle of spontaneously lewd sexual situations get your dinghy fully-rigged.
Vol. 1 witnesses a number of skinny diving and dipping maidens with added emphasis on an incredibly un-bikini contest, the coverage of which, essentially, put GM Video on the map. And then there's the outrageous Candi Apples cucumber footage with the closing moments devoted to an appreciative assortment of bunghole close-ups.
Vol. 2 features some dirty dancing sequences that will have you relinquishing all fond memories of Patrick Swayze. Not to overlook the battering-ram precision of one flashing sequence after another.
Because this is a compilation, you'll likely experience varying levels of video and sound quality throughout. As if that really matters.
