The "Steven St. Croix Show" is being threatened with cancellation, and show host St. Croix faces a similar fate with girlfriend Lexi Ericksson, who says she's no experiencing orgasms. With angst working in overdrive, and humor giving an ambulance a run for the money in the laughs department, viewers may consider this a welcome mercy killing on both counts.
At least that's the decision being left up to network executive Tricia Devereaux, whose concrete heart appears to succumb to a three-man (St. Croix, Vince Vouyer and Tony Tedeschi) anal assault. When a pantycam stunt involving guest Kobe Tai goes south because of sidekick Tedeschi's fumbling, St. Croix's hope for a reprieve just about goes with it, unless he can get the riled Kobe to do an about-face. Attempts at making nice-nice with Kobe, diplomatically and sexually, pretty much account for the rest of the snail's-pacing.
As consolation prizes, Ruby manages to make St. Croix spout like a sperm whale in their pairing, while Chloe takes it resoundingly in the ass from Jon Dough.
Mellow compared to last year's blockbuster.
