The Coeds is a good, solid line of amateur tapes. All the strengths and weaknesses of amateur are here, including wobbly hand-held camerawork, amateurish editing (complete with the word "PLAY" in the corner of the screen now and then) and off-camera direction and cheerleading from the director, but strengths include mostly natural non-overexposed talent and more honest enthusiasm than in many pro tapes.
The between-scenes ads for the Coeds phone-sex line are irritating, but not a deal-breaker.
Vol. 43 features zaftig Kelly in a longish scene with Pizza Boy, with a slow and steady progression to the pop. The second scene has Casey with Officer Bull. Both guys have wood problems, but rather than hurting the scenes, it just adds to the endearing amateurishness.
Vol. 44 features the return of buxom Coeds star Simone. Apparently Pizza Boy has gone missing, and Officer Bull is looking for him. He finds Simone instead. The energetic scene that follows is fun for Bull and Simone - and the viewer as well - as they ping-pong from blowjob to muffdive to doggie to 69 to him standing with her bouncing on his dick, with director Green following the action as best she can with her hand-held camera. This is followed by a scene with new coed Tina distracting "pizza shop owner" Frankie, who is also looking for Pizza Boy. This scene is distinguished by two pops by Frankie.
