A clever script, penned by director Ellison, makes for most of what's watchable here.  While the film is shoe-centric, it doesn't really fit the bill as far as full-blown foot fetishism is concerned.  Missing are the loving, slow close-ups of feet (at least shots that last for any length of time); foot/genital contact; and performers who are obviously trip-wired for tootsies.

Joel Lawrence delivers his usual patchy performance, occasionally mainstream-good and occasionally amateur-clunky.  Janine parlays whatever unique sensuality it is that she's bottled and sold so well into the only registered heat, fairly crawling all over Laura Palmer and Alyssa Love in individual segments.

Interesting camera work makes for excellent visuals; unfortunately, the technical expertise contains more passion than the sexual arc of the film.  When shoe store geek Lawrence finally gets the girl, the general lack of tension in the rest of the film makes for very little in the way of release, let alone explosion.  Still, with Janine and Laura Palmer headlining, this tape should move fairly well.  Another nice, well-heeled release from Vivid.
