The original gonzo pioneer is back, working those same Porn Valley streets. It's been a lot of years since the original On the Prowl introduced porn fans to a whole new genre. Unfortunately, it shows. While the industry has moved ahead, pushing the boundaries and exploring new means of keeping gonzo tapes fresh (this is true, at least, of the better directors), Gillis seems to be stuck in the '80s. The hook here is that Gillis and his girls are picking up real civilians at a dirty bookstore, and taking them back to a room to fuck. This leads to some genuinely uninspired sex, surrounded on all sides by bad videography, murky sound, and frankly boring tease footage.
