Pity the poor suburban husband played by Herschel Savage in Always Lily White. He just can't get it up with quite the same vigor as he used to.

Unfortunately, neither will your customers during long stretches of this tape. While it boasts nice production values and an intelligent but dated script, most of its sex scenes fail to catch fire.

Take the opener, for instance, in which Savage's character, at first unable to produce wood, eventually manages to pop one so as to boff Wife Asia Carrera on a staircase. While the sequence is shot from all sorts of unusual angles, it's a heatless snooze nonetheless. No wonder Savage and his limp dick soon go running into the arms of sex surrogate Lily White, portrayed by Anita Cannibal.

Not that the vid isn't without some inspired moments.

Following that mechanical opener is its polar opposite, a sweaty, smokin', slammin' g/g between two 'hos, played by gorgeous Liza Harper and slutty Phyllisha Anne. Hands down, it's the tape's carnal high point.

Not quite as hot, but memorable nonetheless in a kinky kind of way, is a Raylene/Alec Metro coupling, which begins with both performers mummified in colored Saran Wrap (which, rest assured, they quickly lose). It's a sexy set-up, but the boffing itself is anti-climactic in part because director Bud Lee keeps cross-cutting to another scene, thereby interrupting the flow of passion.
