Synopsis

One of the most distinctive, envelope-pushing raincoater releases of the year thus far. Maybe even start your own Mason section. It\'s her world after all; we just live in it.

Reviews

An outraged Kentucky-based retailer with religion complained to us a few years back that he didn't want AVN sent to his store any longer. "I do no wish to see this filth!!!" he railed in an angry e-mail. "I am a Christian and do not carry that junk in my business!!!!!!!!!!! Naturally we immediately took him off our mailing list.

Now this was long before Mason had burst onto the porn scene with her highly unique, very edgy aesthetic, but watching Mason's Dirty Trixxx 2, this reviewer couldn't help but think of that irate missive.

If that guy though he had seen filth, well, he hadn't seen nothin'. It's doubtful he'll ever check out MDT2, but if he ever did, he'd likely drop to his knees and start praying for deliverance, his little blown mind convinced it was satanically-inspired.

Dark, disturbing, violent,, loud and frantic, this is filth personified, filth with a capital "F," filth taken to new squalid depths (Hell, maybe it is satanically inspired). It's also thrillingly distinctive and wildly wankable, the product of one of the most bracing porno visionaries to come down the pike in some time. If David Lynch (Blue Velvet, Lost Highway, Mulholland Drive) made adult, it might look something like this. And like the brilliant, idiosyncratic Lynch, Mason isn't for everyone (those customers of yours not into large amounts of degradation, spitting, slapping, choking, etc., should definitely star away). Shit, half of Porn Valley won't touch her.

But for those who "get" her, a new Mason release is cause for celebration. Mason was and remains a damn good porn conceit, someone who puts the dirty back in dirty. It's not for nothing that she's up for this month's XRCO Director of the Year Award. We here at AVN, meanwhile, will pre-nom her for Best Director  — Non-Feature. And pre-nom MDT2 itself for Best Vignette Tape.

Mason establishes the perverse temper of MDT2 right off the bat, even before the opening credits, with a single, moody piano note and a female voice breathlessly intoning, "Yeah, hit me again."

She then serves up three straight pre-nom worthy scenes.

The opener has Mason (off camera, as always) and bad-ass Fiona Cheeks kidnapping snotty sorority girl Cassie and giving her her comeuppance care of verbal abuse ("you fucking little preppy shore!"), slapping, spitting, choking, "forcing" her to suck and fuck some creep, hideously making her up, then turning her countenance into ground zero for the slime-ball's muck. Pre-nom it for Best Group Sex Scene.

In scene two, $20 crack ' ho Ashley Moore crackles with demented energy as Jay Ashley, with Mason in tow, fuck her face, pussy and ass, then in a typical Mason touch, rips her trashy fishnets, off, wraps them around her cackling face to great kinky effect, and blows in her mouth. Pre-nom this fierce barnburner for Best Sex Scene Coupling.

Frenzied scene three has airport workers Steve Holmes and Manuel Ferrera unseal slutty Julie Knight form a crate, then brutally having their way with her (producing the loudest, blood-chilling screams this reviewer has heard in a porno in some time), with Ferrera choking her out, shoving his stiffie down her throat for some super-gooey head, then, with Holmes (whose as she eats), spit-roasting her in a blistering d.p. accompanied by tons of face spitting and slapping.

It may not be pretty, but it is pre-nom worthy for Best Group Sex Scene.

Scene four's Bella-Marie/Mark Davis coupling seems a bit anti-climactic compared to what preceded it, as does the closer's Alexandra Quinn/Ferrera pairing. In nine out of 10 other releases, however, they'd be the highlights, and they do little to diminish the obvious: MDT2 is filth all right, great and glorious.
