Jonathan Morgan plays an emotionally aloof private cop who preys on women who answer his personal ad. Therein, the "Casanova Cop" claims he's into "superficial romance and serious sex". But he's hooked when his latest caller is also his latest case. Johnni Black plays the beyond-sexy Dixie. She and her sister (Mandy Frost) are searching for their birth mother, reputedly a renowned stripper.
Sound complicated? Raven Touchstone's script reels out of control, with strip-club rivalries, stolen diamonds, and secret identities rendered almost incomprehensible by flashbacks, clunky direction, and choppy editing. Perhaps most distracting and annoying element is Barry Wood's camera. Every sex scene is shot in bizarre angles and partly in reflection--there's more mirrors than in Peter North's bathroom. And enough with the shooting through light fixtures and plants--get a machete, for Chrissakes, and let us see the sex!
The sex is what saves it, especially the volcanic Johnni Black. Whether she splays herself for an anal battering from Majors, or in her climactic scene with Morgan, she's pure dynamite. Kudos, too, to Anita Cannibal. Whether she's eating fire (in her strip act), or Mandi Frost's flaming pubes, she could melt platinum.
