In my opinion, the best gonzo tapes do a fine job of teasing the viewer, so that the sense of expectation aligns with reality. Ben  Dover's early tapes often included scenes where the girl might not give it up and that sense of reality heightened the eroticism. Ed Powers shows balls when he gets a pretty, busty blond newcomer who refuses to have sex on camera to appear on video and cuts nothing out, even when he offers her $10,000 to have sex and she refuses. One can only hope Powers continues to move the girl (named Tyler Gates, and the owner of a perfect ass) toward losing her video virginity.

The best hardcore scene finds Alexus, a beautiful Latina newcomer (whose hairy pussy belies the predictable trim of today's porn stars), and her boyfriend in a lusty threeway with powers. A genuine, pretty, natural and slightly heavy 18-year-old blonde named Mackenzie shows her shy side before blowing Ed and Jack Steed.
