It's a long hard road out of hell, as Marilyn Manson once sang, and no one's more aware of this reality than The Pervert (Dave Hardman, in a nom-worthy performance). Tormented by past remembrances of female rejection, and suffering from a mild Oedipal complex (just to make it all the more interesting), Hardman's obsession with Caroline Pierce drives him to make obscene phone calls and even more obscene fashion choices - he spots a plastic laundry bag over his head for most of the vid, and is so enamored of the look that he dresses his blow-up doll girlfriend/Pierce substitute identically.
After skulking around Pierce's house and doing her friend Elle DeVyne, Hardman hits the town for a creatively shot and strangely hot encounter in a peep-show booth, furiously beating off to dildo-diddling cutie Allysin Chaynes ("Play with me, Daddy..."), and spraying all over the glass as Chaynes licks the other side. Pierce's pal Jessica Jewel is not amused by Hardman's calls, and visits cops Buck Adams and Chris Cannon for assistance, but when they prove unhelpful in the extreme, she takes a stylish form of revenge by pissing on their donuts (merely simulated, sadly).
Poor Dave. STill waiting for Pierce to fall under his dirty-talking spell, he just keeps dreaming and masturbating - notably, to the memory of his mother (Raquel DeVine) receiving a terrifically frenetic d.p. from Jay Ashley and Lenny FEtish. The images excite him so much, he fucks his be-bagged doll - which probably ought to warrant a Most Outrageous prenom.
Why Pierce finally decides to responds to Hardman's seduction is never made clear, but after a particularly graphic call, she's his for the debasing. What follow is an amazing and creepy coupling beginning with Hardman (made up to look vaguely like JOel Grey in Cabaret) hiding behind a door, sing-songing "Dave's gonna fuck you" in full-on scary-psycho mode; and ending with a sloppy, nasty, forceful standing fuck in the basement, highlighted by Dave thirstily gulping his own freshly-shot spew straight from Pierce's mouth. He even swallows, which must be the deciding factor for Caroline; the last shot shows the happy couple waltzing amongst the detritus, â la Pier Paolo Pasolini's Salo.
Elements of other main-stream films such as Don't Answer the Phone, River's Edge, Silence of the Lambs, and even that urban legend known as The Toilet Monster (with J.J. Michaels as the Being from the Bowl, whose hand reaches up out of the foul waters - not to yank Pierce's guts out through her ass, as the story goes, but to massage her clit) are utilized for maximum shock value throughout the vid. Pre-nom Hardman and Pierce for Best Couples Scene; Hardman for Best Actor and toss in a Best Editing bid as well.
