Neither fish nor fowl, Thunder Pussy is a scripted gonzo feature (talk about oxymorons), wherein the cast can pretend to ad-lib lines such as, "What do you mean, no dialogue? This is a Greg Steel movie!" And being a self-proclaimed Greg Steel movie, we had high hopes that he might do something radical -- or at the very least, moderately fresh -- with the gonzo format.
Instead, the vid offers yet another tedious behind-the-scenes scenario, featuring a number of industry writers in non-sex roles. Julie Rage "directs" the action, very little of which is memorable... the exception being a hot hump atop a parked motorcycle, with Asia Carrera and Steve Hatcher performing (if not at the peak of their form) a respectable tryst.
The handheld videography is annoyingly self-conscious, and the lack of lighting makes the vid look like the inside of a crackerbox. There are minor offense, however, when compared to Rage's on-camera slur against Jews. Being ever so diplomatic, we'd never be so crass as to bring attention to brainless white trash who don't know any better than to bite the hand that feeds them.
