Synopsis

Good non-sex acting and a solid story will appeal to the couples market, and the sci-fi theme is worth mentioning to customers who like the genre.

Reviews

With an excellent script (by Griffin Mill) that owes a bit to Douglas Trumbull’s Brainstorm, Just One More Time has married scientists Randy Spears and Kylie Ireland attempting to stimulate, implant and record human memories – and not surprisingly, all of the memories are sexual. Trouble is, every time they try it on someone, the experience leaves the subject psychotic for a few days.  Add the fact that Kylie’s feeling neglected by Randy’s attention to work, and the plot possibilities are myriad.

Kylie’s performance is excellent throughout, but viewers will pay particular attention to her threeway with Brick Majors and Tyce Bun?, with T.J. Hart and Mike Horner also boffing it up on the next pool chaise over.

One of the nice things about the plot is that it allows scenes to take place at any time or location, so whether it’s Anita Cannibal mentally recreating a Woodstock experience with Steve Hatcher (reverse cowgirl and horsie outside the teepee) or Randy easing in behind Dee in her outdoor shower (horsie, mish and lots of soap suds), nothing seems out of continuity.  And while the ending is a bit sad, and the techno-speak a bit heavy at times, this is one of the best stories we’ve seen this year, and worthy of nomination for Best Video Feature.
