With the success of Austin Powers, psychedelia and the '60s have re-entered popular culture, which turns out to be the perfect milieu for the pop-conscious transsexuals who frequent the Tranny A Go-Go. They don't just gender-bend; they full-on break it. Leave it to director LaRue not to be content with casting gorgeous trannies with working plumbing. LaRue also had the foresight to cast male hunks, including the award-winning Vince Rockland. All the sexual performers in Tranny A Go-Go fall into the category of eye candy.
The plot of Tranny A Go-Go is quick and funny. The dialogue includes hip terms like "groovy" and "wiggy." The action takes place in a club called, you guessed it, Tranny A Go-Go, where "special girls" and the men who love them can mingle and get loose. When the boss Cookie enters the dressing room and finds a cute blond-wigged babe with braces on her teeth pulling a dildo from her g-string, Cookie is mortified, and screams "You're a tranny wannabe. You're not a special girl." The girl really needed the job, and the resulting girl/tranny/boy scene should leave viewers panting. A little later a tranny fucks a boy before he turns the tables on "her."
Pre-nom this little confection for Best Specialty Video -- Other Genre, Best Trans Video (GayVN), Best Sex Comedy (GayVN), Best Art Direction (GayVN), and Best Trans Director (GayVN) for Chi Chi LaRue.
