AVN is all for plot-based porn but let's face it: It really needs to be interesting and have good pacing.  Hot Copy is not and does not.  As is often the case with Adam & Eve videos, the acting and video quality are very good, but the plot and dialogue simply drag this time.  The surprise ending isn't much of a surprise (Tina Tyler's politician character is merely an awkward plot device with a great ass), dialogue is sometimes difficult to hear and the pacing is erratic.  If Tony Tedeschi acting like a bitter but ultimately tender-hearted photographer and Syren like a dewy-eyed investigative reporter moves your customers, then this is the tape for you.

The sex scenes are great to watch, although an extensive and initially hot threeway scene eventually burns itself out, running longer than this reviewer's MTV-generation attention span found interesting.  But the good sex and beautiful camera work can't make up for the fact that Hot Copy is just too predictable and not all that interesting.  The final scene between Tedeschi and Syren is, however, quite lovely and erotic.
