Synopsis

For couples who are looking for an intersting story woven around decently hot sex, Trixxx 02 is likely to be one of the sleeper picks for end-of-year noms.

Reviews

When everyone wears matching pairs of extra-dark designer sunglasses, you can tell it's the future... or Southern California. And when all the performers have big discs attached to the back of their necks, you can tell it's a rip-off... er, homage to either Invaders From Mars or The Matrix -- here, the latter.

In this case, though, the characters (everybody has neat names like "Serenade," "Kudos," "Jade" and "Saki") get beamed down from their spaceship, but they can also appear in computer simulations, such as the "VR" tryst between Inari Vachs and Anthony Crane (who seems to have returned to hardcore with a vengeance).  At first, Crane doesn't seem to be a bad guy; but we sort of get the idea he might be when he kills Vachs just as she's trying to rescue Lord.  Then, like the sociopath he's rapidly revealed as, Crane sets up his VR sexual encounter with the murder victim to take place in a Hawaiian hut setting, with the virtual Inari moving extra-seductively in the anal mish and anal reverse cowgirl positions.

Anyway, Tony Tedeschi and Chris Cannon play the aliens out to stop Rebecca Lord and her band of good guys 'n' gals from saving humanity (though it's never clear exactly how), and early in the process the baddies doubleteam waitress Nancy Vee for some horsie action, finger-fucking and hot anal mish leading to an even hotter d.p.

In due course, Rebecca finds herself captured by the aliens, who have the idea that if they can keep Lord and her group from freeing the inhabitants of earth from their computer-induced somnambulism, they'll be able to take over the planet with no trouble.  Of course, the rest of the team is worried... and what better activity to assuage their fears than sex?  This time, it's Cheyenne Silver and Michael J. Cox, who might be "The Chosen One" (whatever the hell that means -- maybe someone's seen Eddie Murphy's The Golden Child), even though bartender James Nono (much better known for his masterful set lighting, but doing a pretty good non-sex job here) tells him he isn't.  Cox lets Silver ride him before plunging her horsie and mish-wise, ending with a cumshot to her thighs.  (Not that it's particularly sexy, but how often does one see that?)

Anyway, aliens Tedeschi and Cannon apply a few torture devices to the bound Rebecca, and she finally lets Tedeschi have his way (mish, doggie) with her, all the time hoping to be rescued by Michael J. Cox, who's more-or-less the Matrix Keanu Reeves character.  There seems to be little hope of that, however, as the aliens shoot him -- giving Rebecca the chance to say her big line, to which it's clear that she's brought the best of her acting skills: "He must be alive because I love him."

And sure enough, he is -- and invulnerable as well, as he faces down a four-villain hit squad and vanquishes them in his best Keanu manner.  Of course, he frees Rebecca, they get all kissy, and he takes her back to the spaceship's basement (who knew?), fucks her in three positions and cums on her tits.

Yes, the plot sounds pretty cheesy, but thanks to a decent script and acting ability of just about everybody in the cast, it's pulled off on a par with ay recent offering from, say, Full Moon Entertainment -- and that's high praise for a porn feature.  Add the cut-above camerawork and editing, the spiffy costumes by September and some good cheap (but nom-worthy) special effects, and Trixxx 02 garners our pre-nom for Best Video, plus a nod for Clousot as Best Director.
