Synopsis

Friction comes to a head in this taut anthology from Deeper.com. Accessorizing with an ankle bracelet, Freya Parker is a femme fatale out to detain the first man that crosses her perimeter in "House Arrest." In "Curtain Call," Kira Noir is a burlesque superstar whose onstage sexual energy demands a backstage flirtation with stranger sex. After a bad break up, Blake Blossom instigates an argument with her ex, who calls her on being a "Selfish Brat." And Amber Moore's fantasies of life as her older lover's kept woman threaten to overtake her reality in "Amber Would Never." All of these women discover their sexual fires are ignited through "Friction."

Reviews

Freya Parker dresses, pulling her white socks over her ankle monitor. Her phone has been cut off for non-payment, she throws a VHS into the player to practice yoga, she bathes with one foot dangling outside the tub. When Dwayne Foxxx knocks to warn her that he'll be reading the meter outside, she drops the towel and invites him in. After some badinage about why she's under house arrest ("I killed my husband. Actually, it was my boyfriend ... unpaid parking tickets. A lot of them."), she tells him how when she was handcuffed, she had no control over her body, and when she dangles a pair of handcuffs in front of him, he gives in to temptation.

Backstage at a theater, two techs discuss actress Kira Noir's habits of not having sex and teasing herself so she can bring that sexual energy to the stage—and choosing a guy pretty much at random at show's end to release the rest of her sexual energy. Bartender Alex Jones gets the call, and she pours mouthwash into his mouth and tells him, "Gargle ... now spit," before elaborating: "I've been working up to this orgasm for weeks. Every night, every morning, I've been bringing myself to the edge and then stopping. For weeks. Do you understand what I'm saying?" She gives him precise instructions: "This is how I want my clit sucked [demonstrates on his finger]. When you spank me, a little bit of sting, cup your hand like this. Take a seat." She jumps on his lap and starts dissipating that built-up tension.

Blake Blossom's packing of books into a moving box is interrupted by a knock on the door. She answers it. Seth Gamble. "You could have let yourself in, you know."

"I don’t live here anymore." Cold. Detached.

"Neither do I."

The cold, hard back-and-forth is intensified when she throws down a box of BDSM gear. "This is yours."

When he walks away, she grabs him from behind. When he throws her down on the floor, she screams—until he gags her. He looks her in the eye, tells her he's taking the gag out ... and when he does, she spits at him. "You love it," she snarls.

"I'm not playing this game with you anymore."

She reaches for him. "Then why is your dick hard?"

The camera swings to match the emotions here as they play-act out what may well be a regular ritual for them in a solid b/g scene with an edge.

Amber More brushes her teeth walking around in a high-rise loft, asking Mick Blue if he read a story she wrote. He indifferently pulls it up on his laptop but doesn’t read it before leaving. After he's gone, she goes to the laptop and narrates her story, saying, "Become a kept woman? Never. I'm not scared that I wouldn't like it ... I'm afraid I would fucking love it." The story comes to life as More and Blue act it out—in her fantasy?—with Blue fitting her with a collar and leash and having his way with her.

Well shot and well performed, this title earns its place among b/g fare. The Blossom/Gamble scene is a keeper.
