Reckless serves as an integral standalone part of a trio of three big releases in one metaverse. Consider it a prequel to Deranged and occurring somewhere in the middle of Privileged. Eight connected scenes—with each standing on its own merit as well as a part of the timeline—make this extraordinary release by director and performer Seth Gamble simply awesome.
Gamble, released from prison and vowing to go straight, is a racing enthusiast and an expert of tech whose goal, along with wife Ivy Wolfe, is to start his own business without resorting to mistakes of the past. The problem is that everyone wants a piece of his new startup: a computer chip. In the opener, he is strong-armed by corrupt cop Lexington Steele, who makes it clear he wants in on this cash cow. Fortunately, Gamble has Wolfe there to comfort him and segue from this intimidation into an energetic, sizzling sex scene where the chemistry between them is undeniable and exhausting.
He finds a backer, courtesy of Axel Braun’s excellent non-sex performance, where Braun recommends moneyman Nathan Bronson, who knocks off a piece with Braun’s sex-starved daughter Kenzie Anne. Shortly after, Steele sets Gamble up on a fake murder rap and has him arrested. While in jail, mystery, action scenes and misdeeds run rampant for all involved. Race car driver Mick Blue and Kenna James get together in a garage and nearly rub the paint off a car in one of the bays while doing the nasty. A similar scenario in that same location has Nicole Doshi on the receiving end of an internal pop from David Lee.
Gamble, railroaded and sentenced to 25 years for murder, has a poignant, dramatic bromance sharing his cell with Tommy Pistol (their first time performing together in a feature). Also, Ivy Wolfe seduces Kenzie Anne in an attempt to garnish evidence that would exonerate him. Excellent, elegant girl/girl scene, ladies!
The story wraps up in the remaining three parts where greed and intrigue continue to guide everyone’s actions. Trust no one. Along the way, Blue beds crooked bookkeeper Ryan Reid, who takes a mouthful for her efforts. After screwing him, James tricks Steele—and evidence to release Gamble is unearthed and Steele goes to jail. A few plot twists happen towards the end (sorry—no spoilers!), and a newly-freed Gamble unleashes his pent-up prison penis pressure in a threesome with Reid and Wolfe.
There is a lot going on here, and this extensive screenplay coupled with excellent acting, and much more, has garnished Gamble and company numerous well-deserved nominations. Well done all!
