In a mansion in the shadow of the Hollywood sign, Kenna James and Lilly Bell cavort in front of Seth Gamble's 16mm camera, shooting a sex scene that gets discovered by Gamble's galpal Avery Cristy when she rummages around Gamble's garage. (Of course there's a 16mm projector right there in the garage and Gamble's wind-up film camera shot with synched sound. Whaddaya you, a critic? Play along.) Turned on and pissed off, Cristy confronts Gamble, straddling his face ("Just shut up and let me ride your face") and stealing his phone to chase down Gamble's playfriends.

Cristy finds Bell's address and peeps on her as she cavorts with Anton Harden, then returns to Gamble's place and angry-fucks him in a visually creative anal-inclusive scene with handheld shots that capture the intensity. Late that night, Cristy leaves Gamble's bed (Are they living together? Are you back with the questions? Get out of here!) and finds that James works at a hair salon.

James welcomes her, and over the shampoo sink Cristy allows that she saw James in a sex tape with her boyfriend and wants to balance things out. James suggests they continue the discussion in the chair, and a dissolve and a hairdo later, James suggests Cristy rebalance—and introduces her to Harden with a seductive whispered, "So ... how about that rebalance?" before the three of them rebalance Cristy all over the salon.

More stylized than narrative, Video Secrets tells its story visually and viscerally. Recommended.
