This dark thriller is a follow-up in spirit to last year’s A Killer on the Loose. Bad girl Aiden Ashley, picked up and fucked in the woods by biker Dante Colle, demands he do it twice, but the surprise strike of a killer puts the brakes on her libido—and Colle—and she awakens with Brooklyn Gray, who carried her away from his bloodied corpse after sniffing to see if she was alive. Ashley should have heeded the full moon clearly shown in the distance.
Ashley now has the itch, and later finds herself in a threesome with Brad Newman and Nicole Sage. She still has no idea what is going on, even with the hands-on help of cop Tommy Pistol (who plays his role straight and without his familiar wacky antics) and a band of rogue bikers. As expected, Gray is revealed to be controlled by the full moon—as in becomes a werewolf—and it is no surprise that Ashley likewise follows suit. Interestingly, only the women are werewolves and the men their toys—or meals.
The well-developed characters are given plenty of dialogue and actions to make this a “thinking” flick and not just a series of excuses for sex. The acting alone is excellent, and the trans”fur”mation pretty well done. Along with a big cast of non-sex characters, it is an apt homage to mainstream releases of this genre. Should you watch it? Absolutely—but not during a full moon.
