Ryan McLane is a blocked writer, dealing with an empty booze bottle, a blank computer screen, an agent who wants a new manuscript he can sell and an angry ex-wife asking where her alimony check is. When he meets Avi Love at a bar, he doesn't know she's a hooker, but he's interested when she recognizes him after he mentions the title of a book he wrote, saying it's her favorite book. When he asks what she does, she says she's a student studying dramatic writing.

The next day, Love, still excited, tells her buddy Cadence Lux she met the author ("Who's that?") and when he calls her she jumps at it. When they meet, McLane tells her he's having trouble writing, she's encouraging, offering him suggestions for creativity and, after a romantic walk, a passionate bed bounce. "I've been so happy today, I forgot to drink," he tells her, and she later tells Lux that she's really smitten with the guy. She's so smitten, in fact, she blows off a john in mid-session ("I'm having an existential crisis right now") and calls in a friend to substitute. But when she calls McLane right afterwards and says she wants to see him ("I need a hug"), he can't make it. 

When an indiscreet buddy of McLane's drops the bomb about Love's profession, McLane flips out and sends her away, later ignoring her apologetic text message and drinking straight from the bottle in train yards. Although the rift seems insurmountable, writer/director Quasar manages to pull off the happy ending without bending credibility too much.

Good filler for a features section and very good showcase for Avi Love.
