At the funeral of their stepmother Nancy, sisters Kimmy Granger, Ashley Lane and Ivy Lebelle are faced with a mysterious couple (Ella Hughes, Danny D.) claiming to be Nancy's biological children from a previous marriage.
Hughes starts causing trouble among the sisters after the funeral, when she sends Lane to the church choir loft to find husband Marcus London in a quickie tryst with Granger. The mysterious couple gives Lane a ride to the family home, and Hughes tells Lane to rest while she and Danny start to search the place. "Do you think they're buying this brother-sister bullshit?" D. asks Hughes, before she continues her troublemaking by seducing Lane, assuring her, "This will be our little secret," before bringing her some tea—laced with knockout drops.
Granger comes to the family home to apologize, but walks in on Hughes and D. lustfully kissing. She flees and tells Lebelle what she saw, but Lebelle brushes her off and goes into the house. She encounters D., who offers her a massage to relax. While massaging Lebelle, he gets her to describe where Nancy kept her cash stash and then seduces her. After she agrees to keep the tryst "just between us," D. cold-cocks her with a vase.
Lebelle and Lane wake up tied to chairs as Hughes and D. outline their plan in the traditional manner of fictional villains. They leave them tied up, then head out to Granger, still pouting in her car. They bring Granger inside and have a three-way with her, planning to knock her cold and take the cash, but things don’t go the way the bad guys planned.
Uninvited features good performances—acting and sexual—in service of a clever premise. Recommended.
