Jim Powers has the '70s roughie aesthetic down perfectly - will someone please trust his Vision and provide him with the budget to resuscitate this genre properly? Powers does the best with what he's got here, but the tape's low production values bring the rating down, often offering more cheese than sleaze.

Keegan Skky looks quite authentic as a mousy librarian-type - no makeup and unstyled brown hair complete the visuals perfectly. Her sex kitten pal Brittany Skye is dismayed with her friend's preoccupation with her career; why bother with work when you can fuck guys?

Skky's life changes when homeless freak (Johnny Packwood) shoves an envelope in her hand. "Burn it!" he shouts. Intrigued, Skky keeps the package - which turns out to be a porn mag titled The Rules of Filth. It's even got a note attached; she's to return it to a public men's room.

Skky goes from repressed bore to good little whore throughout a series of increasingly bizarre sexual encounters. Much of her sexual journey is told through her "thoughts" in an unintentionally funny voiceover; hence gems such as "I haven't diddled myself in years." The sex is better - one standout is Skky's sudden compulsion to suck an anonymous cock through a glory hole in a bathroom.

A blackmail scheme develops, with Skky being "forced" into a strap-on encounter with bitchy Flick Shagwell. Best scene is an effective fantasy where a blindfolded Skky endures being groped by a bunch of anonymous creeps, leading to a good standing-doggie with Byron Long.

And best pal Skye? She's not just another bleached bim; she's a caring friend who, it turns out, has orchestrated the entire ordeal so that Skky can realize her aspirations to "be the whore you really are." Somehow, the culmination of whoredom involves the two pals double-teaming Johnny Thrust and Mark Cummings in a watchable closer.
