Synopsis

"Games We Play" is a collection of vignettes played out between characters whose relationship is revealed to be a twisted game of sex and obsession. Each unfolds in layers of attraction and frustration as the couples fall into the dynamics that promise to keep pulling them back together.

Reviews

Four intensely erotic vignettes.

"No one likes a tease," says public speaker Ashley Lane, discomforted by Tyler Nixon pulling out his dick and masturbating in the front row during her speech. Or maybe she's hallucinating it, along with the quick scene of him mouth-ravaging her clit and then when she's almostthere—leaving the room. "Teases get tied up," she declares, walking in on him in a dimly-lit storeroom. Barrels, brick wall, great big ropes, candles, a lantern, don’t ask too many questions, go with it. She straddles him, and when he leans up to kiss her, we see his hands are tied behind his back. She starts at his belt and slowly licks up before opening his pants. Wets her fingers, starts to stroke. Slow, deliberate. Kiss, lick, retreat. She leans up to kiss him, stroking all the while, draws her hand away, starts again. When he says, "Yes just like that," she pulls away. She rubs his dick between her butt cheeks as he gasps with frustrated pleasure. When he gets his hands free he bends her over and tongues her from behind, teasing her clit with his cock before inserting, and showing he can still frustrate and tease her even in mid-fuck.

Angela White finds some sexy text messages on husband Markus Dupree's phone and wakes him with a cold, hard, "Who's Becky?" His silence leads her to repeat it like a mantra, until he says, "She's nobody," and an argument ensues: she tearful, he dismissive. She gets louder, yelling, "I hate you!" as he grabs her from behind and she kicks out. There's a deep undercurrent of foreplay and we've-been-here-before under White's fury as Dupree tries to mollify her by caressing her and saying, "I love you." She pushes him away, then crawls over, begging, "Please," in a deep whisper when he pulls her face away from his cock. She is in turns aggressive ("You're mine!") and passive, letting herself get face-fucked and then climbing atop him as he reclines. When he's balls deep in her ass, she still demands, "Do you think about me when you fuck her?" A tour de force scene—acting, fucking, direction—for all concerned.

Married couple Valentina Nappi and Manuel Ferrara have a game where she tries to seduce a man and Ferrara tries to stop it. Hotel busboy Tyler Nixon is the subject of Nappi's attentions, answering the door for room service in a transparent teddy and dropping the check folio so that when Nixon picks it up he's looking straight at her crotch. Kross laconically observes in voice-over, "Most of the time, she wins." As Ferrara peeps on them, Kross reassures the viewer, "Her husband is okay with it."

Closer has Dupree back as a teacher in a classroom dealing with seductive student Alexa Grace. He can only play the this-isn't-office-hours/I-have-a-wife cards for so long, and when he says, "I can lose my job," but refrains from kicking her out and locking the door, you know where this is going, and when he pushes her against the blackboard with one hand on her throat and the other on her pussy, you were right. After an intense encounter (including her jerking him with her feet and some light bondage play with his belt), she looks at him with her face covered in jizz and says, "I got you."

Last year's Best Director - Non-Feature winner Kayden Kross rings the nom-worthy bell again with this entry that keeps the viewer invested with intense acting and sex performances and rapid changes in point-of-view.
