What is reality? That's the question that is asked in this she-said/he-said/she-said drama where Sondra Hall, Dillion Day and T.J. Hart are at odds as to who is the victim and who is the victimizer. Day is the man of the house who either came on to Hall as she drove up - or he saw her blow the cabbie in lieu of paying the fare and offered Day the same service any time he wanted. Things get more complicated from there, as scenes get played and replayed depending on who's telling the story. Is T.J. a cheated-on spouse? Or is she falling back into her old lesbian lifestyle, driving a frustrated Day into the arms of a mistress? Was Day condescending to Sondra and her friends? It's pretty obvious that T.J. fucked the lawn boy - they all agree on that - and when T.J. walks in on Sondra and Dillion in flagrante she kicks his ass out and reassures Sondra, telling her it's not her fault and setting up housekeeping with her. Which Day is telling us about from a fleabag hotel.
Bud Lee gets good performances out of everybody here, including Hall as a temptress and Day and Hart as the husband and wife. Excellent images by Jack Vincennes. Terrific script by D. Cypher. Pre-noms for everybody.
