Reviews

Taylor Hayes has turned the stick blue, and she wants to tell hubby Joey Ray, but he doesn't "have time right now." Ray's work-then-work-out regimen is interrupted by ne'er-do-well bud Dale DaBone, who sets up a boys' night out, interrupting it to schtup waitress Felicia Fox and then turning off the alarm clock so Ray sleeps late the next morning. DaBone tells Hayes a story of the good old days when they shared a woman one night, and she winds up adopting his nose-thumbing attitude, addressing Ray as "sir" and saluting in a smart-assy way. DaBone even shows up at Ray's office, trying to get him to lighten up.

That night, Taylor tells him she's pregnant, then we flash back to Ray's and DaBone's buddy days in San Francisco when Ray met Claudia Adkins and did her right after they met, even getting her name tattooed on his arm. Right before he met Taylor, who he took back to his place - just in time for a surprise party. Adkins was surprised, that's for sure. Taylor and DaBone hook up, Ray and Adkins break up, and we're back to the present. Ray, now a reformed health nut, is in the same bar downing shots and trying to screw Felicia Fox, but barfing before it gets to that. Taylor runs away, and DaBone, still in residence, throws a party.

Ebony Sinclair meets Ray in the bedroom and they have a party of their own, with him even throwing it to her up the vosburg. Taylor comes back and admits that she cheated too, and it turns them both on so much they have to have each other right now, and do. Epilogue ends things on a bittersweet note.

Six fine sex scenes complement the drama here, with David Stanley script as usual excellent. Beautiful images and original music make this a good choice for couples, and San Francisco location shots don't hurt either.
