A twist-filled tale of attempted murder and retribution.

The dark-night deserted-road post-backseat-fuck afterglow of Maya Kendrick and Tyler Nixon is interrupted by Abella Danger staggering down the road toward them, calling for help. There's no cell service out here, so they bundle her into their car and take her home to Kendrick's dad, a doctor. She's been shot, the doctor says, but the bullet missed her organs, and with no house nearby she must have been dumped there.

As Danger rests, she has a flashback: first, to her husband Seth Gamble proposing a mountain getaway and the celebratory fuck that followed; then, to arriving at the cabin and waiting for him alone; then, the call to her husband, the strange noises at the cabin, and getting shot by Tommy Pistol, who then answers his cell phone to say, "The job's done, Mr. Anderson," as Danger's eyes jerk open in surprise. Danger wakes up from her memory dream, and then we see Gamble walk into the same bedroom, follow the trail of blood out the door and see the bloody handprint. Is this a continuation of Danger's flashback, reconstructed in her mind because she wasn't there, or is it a real-life continuation of what happened after she got away?

At this point the story heads off in different directions. Gamble reports Danger missing, and answers questions for sheriff Eric Masterson. Danger leaves her bed and steals the doctor's truck to see galpal Charlotte Stokely, who initially receives her with a breezy, "Did he cheat on you again? You can't always come to me," before seeing the bloodstain on her side and taking her inside, vowing, "I'll kill that sonofabitch!"

Kimber Woods confronts Pistol about money she loaned him and she notices the envelope full of cash when he pulls out one bill to repay her. A colleague tells Masterson that forensics found no clues in the truck: "It's been two weeks. She could be anywhere by now." The husband's story is airtight, but Masterson has his doubts. "Somebody has to know what happened to her," he muses, right before Woods walks up to his desk and says, "Excuse me, sheriff...?"

When Gamble hooks up with Giselle Palmer, the truth comes out to the viewer: Palmer put the hit on Danger and paid Pistol $20,000, "but the guy you hired let her get away." Palmer isn't worried: "She's been missing for over two weeks with a fucking gunshot wound ... stupid bitch probably got lost in the woods and eaten by coyotes or some shit." Danger, recovering at Stokely's place, gets the lowdown on Gamble and the downlow with Stokely, and the pieces to fall into place with a pleasantly surprising conclusion.

Writer/director Stormy Daniels again shows her mastery of storytelling in this trim, tight, filler-free production that wraps in a succinct 90 minutes with five full sex scenes and no untied loose ends. Brava!
