Rather like Dasher, Dancer, Blitzen, et al, this dizzying array of holiday beauties is difficult to tell apart. One dozen perfect Playmates, pretty maids all in a row, but no attempt is made to differentiate them from one another in any way. With the exception of three or four brunettes, we have a collection of Hef's current obsession with blonde, blue-eyed girls with perfect bodies, large, enhanced breasts, and lots of makeup. The girls giggle and perform playful routines. The vignettes rest upon such weak, thin "plots" -- the viewer knows immediately what's going to happen next.

With the usual Playboy class and style, the sets and lighting are extremely beautiful, with a cozy fireplace, lots of candles and Christmas d?cor. Santa even appears in one scene, peeking out from a closet to watch the naked Playmates unwrap their gifts, all of which consist of - guess what - itsy-bitsy pieces of lingerie. When two beautiful Playmates appear as angels, the ethereal scene is marred by their sleepy performances and aloof refusal to bestow a smile.

These exceptionally beautiful Playmates, under the direction of Scott Allen, perform the most repetitive scenes imaginable: sliding their hands over their breasts, up along their necks and cheekbones, and flipping their long hair around. There are a few close-up shots of beautifully shaved pussies, but usually that's all that's on the screen, not the whole girl! None of the girls speak in this video. The music consists of very dated sound-alikes of songs like Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree with the words not-so-cleverly adapted. The directing is very choppy, making it difficult to follow even the most transparent story lines.

Packaged with a second tape with actual backstage footage and an extra scene from Playmates Unwrapped, it also includes Jennifer Wolcott's Playmate Profile. She is lovely and speaks well, and several scenes showcase her gorgeous body. If ever a girl could be said to have a smile both sensual and impish, it's Jennifer. She has a tremendous camera presence and lights up every shot with twinkling eyes and a sense of how much she is enjoying her work.
