Heavy on the pseudo-sophisticated bells and whistles, this slick porno version of Tomb Raider is just as empty-headed as the popular computer game and its Hollywood movie adaptation. In a sense, it actually surpasses the source material, because Angelina Jolie doesn't do hardcore. Stunning Penthouse model Venus stars as sexual super heroine "Laura Croff," with Voodoo taking the male lead as her partner Alan. Together, these intrepid fuckers set out to recover a stolen artifact from villainous oil magnate Jeremy Cross (Mike Horner, in an amusing hambone performance). Infiltrating the sinister Cross Power Plant, the protagonists do battle with thugs and manage some sex in the process. There's a decent opener with Voodoo and Venus, a hot lesbian interrogation scene with Venus and Dominica Leone (nice analingus), and another b/g with Voodoo and Nicole Sheridan. The exciting climax has Venus making her way to Horner's cheesy "secret room" for a carnal showdown; after the pop on her tits, she punches his lights out and walks off with the artifact. With much of the running time devoted to silly chase scenes and kung-fu action, there's not much room left for the sex. Nonetheless, the tape should score a hit with those whose libidinous urges are stimulated by video games; given the number of terminal adolescents in the porn consumer base, it's a must-stock.
