Tommy Pistol is leading a life of quiet desperation. His wife Reagan Foxx is constantly at loggerheads with their daughter Karlee Grey, and his job is a dead-end nightmare. "I work with assholes, narcissists and thieves. I pretend I'm just like them. It makes the day tolerable ... I guess." To make himself feel better, he imagines beating up his colleagues and fantasizes about his boss Mercedes Carrera being dominated by co-worker Danny Mountain.

When he finds new houseguest Janice Griffith on the couch, he isn’t sure it's a good idea, but wifey shoots him down: "It's only for a few semesters." Griffith is the daughter of wifey's lover, whose marketing scam is about to fall apart and he's about to get a divorce. "Personally, I'm indifferent," Pistol muses. "Or maybe I'm just numb."

When Griffith asks Pistol, "Why do you let them treat you like that? Your wife hates you and your daughter doesn’t respect you," he snaps, "None of your business!" and leaves ... but the question nags at him. Griffith follows him and says that it is her business—because she feels the same way.

Meanwhile, Foxx hooks up with her lover Derrick Pierce and Pistol bonds with Griffith, leading him to stand up to Foxx and get her to back off berating Grey. ("There they are!" he exults in voiceover. "My balls!") Foxx follows up with Grey's boyfriend Small Hands, demanding he back off on Grey and winding up horizontal with him.

In his bedroom, Griffith encourages Pistol to get out of his rut. "Am I making you uncomfortable?" she asks, looking him in the eye. "Good. You need to quit being such a fucking coward." He moves in to kiss her, and ... happy ending. Several of them, in fact—the one with Carrera particularly rewarding.

Writer/director Mike Quasar has mastered not only storytelling but also the dynamics of porn storytelling, teasing the audience by keeping his characters fully clothed and chaste until the story (and the viewer) demands it. Well done.
