Allysin Chaynes shines as the girl who fell down a hole in this umpteenth telling of Lewis Carroll's story. But it never looked quite like this. She runs into two identically dressed women who try to get her to join their lesbian twosome - she doesn't, but that doesn't stop them - and then she is spirited away by a large white creature, carrying a pocket watch and telling her she's late for an appointment with the queen. After a confrontation, with everybody distractingly talking in rhyme, she muses to herself, "This is insane. I'm in no mood for games... Now I'm doing it." Seductions and couplings follow, with Chaynes now observing, now participating, ending with her replacing the queen and declaring sexual freedom to the whole place - and to you, watching, as well. Six sex scenes in total.
Chaynes comes into her own in this video: The winsome teen of 1998 is now a young woman, ready to play, but reluctant to be taken advantage of. (When the Cheshire Cat character, having just done her, propositions her again, she replies "Once is enough, thank you.") Pre-nom for Best Actress - Video, and let's throw her into the Female Performer of the Year first-pass group. Best Sex Comedy. Support pre-noms for Randy Spears, Ava Vincent, and "Kevin Cosler" as the Cheshire Cat, one for director Jim Enright, one for art director Britt Morgan, and one for the unbilled writer who put the words together and made them work - in verse, no less.
