A struggling strip club is the backdrop for this noir-tinged drama that rewards viewers with variety in the sex scenes and satisfying twists in the plot. Ryan Driller comes on suave as club owner Nate, but it turns out the fabric of his life is fraying. On the plus side, he’s got a good crew working for him—his nice-guy brother (Michael Vegas), a loyal bartender (Lucas Frost) and stripper Jezebel (Ana Foxxx), who helps train the new girls.

One girl who doesn’t need much training is willowy Eve (Alexa Grace), a new hire who will play a pivotal role in further unraveling Nate’s life … a process that’s aided by two other women: his wife, former stripper Tami (Chanel Preston), and his landlady/lover, the rapacious Veronica (Alana Cruise).

Solid acting and superior production values all around push Stripped Down above the average couples’ fare in overall quality. Another plus is that the sex is quite varied—romantic boy/girl scenes for the club staffers, and more emotionally ambiguous couplings involving Nate and the complicated women around him. And each scene features its own unique cinematographic look, calibrated to match the sexual mood.
